Jack has been in the HVAC industry for over 35 years, working in service, sales and training. He came to Virginia Air in July of 2006 from York International where he had been working since 1990. His last position with York was Manager of Training.
He's an active member of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society, where he is a frequent speaker and contributor to the RSES journal. Jack has developed and conducted HVAC industry related training seminars all over the world. He currently sits on an ACCA committee to review and rewrite Manual N and also sits on the NATE technical review committee.

Andy Smart - Technical Service Manager - Raleigh, NC

Andy has been in the HVAC business over 6 years. He came in as a service technician and quickly rose to the rank of service manager with an HVAC business having a large presence in the geothermal market in the Raleigh area for over 30 years. Along with leading a team of service technicians and installers, he also designed, installed and maintained residential geothermal systems. Other responsibilities included outside sales, IT support, web design and implementation.
Prior to entering the HVAC industry Andy served in the USAF where one of his assignments was instructing Weather Officer Courses. With his passion for tackling technical problems, teaching and interacting with people, he is eager to be part of Virginia Air and looks forward to providing world class technical support and training to our customers. And if the winds are just right, you may find him flying his hang glider off Big Walker Mountain in the western part of Virginia.
David Cole - Technical Service Manager - Charlotte, NC

David has been in the HVAC industry for over 35 years. He spent 10 years as a technician with Arkansas Louisiana Gas Company. The next 18+ years he operated his own HVAC Company designing, installing and servicing residential and light commercial equipment. In 2005 he took a position with a HVAC manufacturer as their technical representative supporting the residential and light commercial equipment lines and remained there for the past 8 years. During this time he has been an instructor at a Central Piedmont Community College for the last several years as well. He is NATE certified in several specialties and currently tasked with creating and teaching the curriculum for the first NATE prep course to be taught there. I am looking forward to being part of the Virginia Air technical team.
Greg Andrews - Technical Service Manager - Cleveland, OH

Greg has over 31 years in the HVAC industry. Over the years he’s worked in all aspects of the trade, including installer, service technician, Installation Manager, Service Manager, and General Manager. His work experience includes design, troubleshooting, hydronics, sales, and education. Prior to Joining Virginia Air he was the general Manager of a Cleveland/Akron based residential and commercial contractor. Greg restores old Jeeps in his spare time and is looking forward to helping all our customers, especially those in our Cleveland and Pittsburgh branches.
Chris Lockhart - Technical Service Manager - Richmond, VA
Chris has over 26 years of experience in the HVAC industry, including time as a contractor/owner. He started out as an installation helper and worked his way up through his career to become service manager with a local contractor in the Richmond area. Chris has vast experience in geothermal, residential service, duct design, hydronics in addition to installation of equipment with additional responsibilities over the years with residential and commercial sales. Prior to joining the Virginia Air team Chris worked for a commercial contractor out of the Tidewater area.
Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, shooting sports and being outdoors. He is very excited to join the Virginia Air team and looks forward to providing world class service and technical support to our customer base.

Juan has worked in the HVAC industry for 26 years, with his first job being working in the warehouse of a local HVAC supplier in Miami, Florida. He took on increasing responsibility, holding various positions including warehouse manager, parts manager, inside sales and equipment technical service support for contractors. In 1981, Juan relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to fill the position of Technical Service Manager for a distributor covering a territory including the state of Georgia, parts of Alabama, Tennessee, North and south Carolina. He conducted multiple training courses as well as providing technical support to contractors in that area, using his extensive knowledge of applications, service and installation. In 1985 Juan moved to Charleston, WV where in 1987 he started, owned and operated a successful HVAC contracting business.

Don has spent 28 years in the HVAC industry working in residential, light commercial, and commercial service. Starting in 1980 as a service technician, he worked his way up to service manager where his responsibilities included scheduling and supervising the repair and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems. Don also worked as an operations manager, where he oversaw the day to day operations of a family owned HVAC company.
Most recently Don partnered with a colleague specializing in residential/light commercial service and replacement. Don specializes in control wiring and feels his troubleshooting will be an asset to our customer base. Don is very excited to join Virginia Air and looks forward to providing technical assistance to our customers.
