In a time where condensing unit sizes grow larger and larger with each increase in SEER requirements, York International is pleased to introduce the smallest 13 SEER condenser in the HVAC industry today. The microchannel mini-cube chassis measures less than 22" square and will be available in 5 different sizes 1.0 through 3.0 tons. All systems will operate with R-22 refrigerant. Product heights will range from 22.5" to 31.5".
The initial launch will be a limited production of 500 2.5 and 3.0 ton air-conditioner models which are currently available for shipment. Currently the product is being offered with both Rotary and Reciprocating compressors. Full product launch and other tonnage units will be introduced in December. This is a very exciting new product and should offer a tangible competitive advantage in the marketplace, especially in multi-family projects.
